Coaching is a process through which a coach walks alongside you to support and facilitate a process of self-discovery. Through self-exploration, we can identify your hopes, dreams, goals and feelings about them while we examine and understand the barriers that get in the way of moving toward them. Coaching is a collaborative relationship through which you feel empowered to connect with your values and desires, learn more about yourself and design actions that align with and move you toward your goals.
Through the coaching journey, you are likely to: deepen insight, increase self-awareness, develop new skills, create a plan and design actions for achieving your goals, overcome obstacles that may be slowing you down or making you feel stuck, try on new perspectives, enhance interpersonal and other skills, create new or identify existing pathways that you might not have previously been aware of. The coaching process fosters expansion of thinking, increased flexibility and openness. Through coaching, we can take a look at patterns of thinking and behavior that show up in your life to enhance understanding of their impact personally, professionally, in relationships with others and with yourself.
Coaching sessions can vary in length, but typically run between 30 minutes to an hour and a half. The frequency of sessions can also vary depending on your specific goals. It is important that we work together to design a coaching program and process that is best suited to the uniqueness of you and what you hope to accomplish during your coaching journey.
